Established as a West of England weaving workshop in the 16th century, it quickly became one of the region's most significant textile companies. By the 18th century every discerning gentlemen wore broadcloth baring the merchant's mark of Marling & Evans. Once a completely vertical mill that survived two world war the mill has since changed many owners and locations while never losing its tradition and Saxony qualities.
Now in the heart of Huddersfield, centre of Yorkshire textile industry which still produce the finest cloths available.
